NEED URGENT HELP ASAP! Cat trying to kill other cat

I have a female and a male cat. I've had the female since she was a kitten and she grew up with the male cat with NO complications, they loved each other from the very second they met. And as strange as this may sound, the female cat has never clawed me, EVER. Or anyone for that matter. The female cat has suddenly turned on him. Kept escalating things until she cannot even look at him without starting a brawl to the death. They've been severely hurt and taken to the vet of course, but is there anything to be done now? Is a cat behaviorist worth it? Will any psychiatric medicine help her? It is NOT territorial at all, it has nothing to do with cat condos, food, cat litters, or anything like that. It's a sudden shift in her, they'll be cuddling and she'll bite at him and he'll simply walk away, and that's it, she will try and murder him. At the vet, we learned she has bladder crystals which have been dealt with and are officially gone and tended to. There is no way I will declaw and rehoming is about to be the only option. Is there anything that could've caused this? If so, what will amend their bond? It's heartbreaking because the male cat will and has sloped into depression without her. He wouldn't hurt a fly and doesn't deserve this, and the female cat is just angelic to people, would never lay a claw on them. This would be a huge loss, is there anything that has worked for you in this situation? Any tips? Thanks
