I found a homeless dog on a road trip 2 weeks ago, he's undergoing treatment now for lung worms, whip worms and heart worms and one of the side effects is low appetite so he's crazy picky. He doesn't seem to recognize anything but meat as food, and even with that he's picky; I've had best success so far with ground beef and organ meat, which I'm mixing up really well with shredded chicken. He still tries to pick around the chicken. He's about 20 lbs underweight so for now I'm willing to give him whatever he wants to get the weight on, but eventually I'm going to have to start transitioning him onto dog food. Anyone been in this situation before? Any tips? I posted a pic of him to r/germanshepherds but I'll post some more when I get home from work :) he's a little angel
