My SO and I have the perfect, most beautiful cat in the world. We were very lucky to have her as our first cat, cause she's the chillest cat and so sweet. We've had minimal issues with her, and we love her so much we'd drop most of our income on her if it calls for it.
We've always known that we would add more fur babies to our family, but I'm having a hard time welcoming in the idea of another cat in our family. I've seen close friends struggle with introducing two cats, and heard too many horror stories that it really worries me about introducing a new cat into our family. Our cat is so sweet that I honestly don't think it would be a big issue if we took the time to introduce them properly, but I'm worried that it'll stress her out or that she won't enjoy having another cat in the apt? She's so independent that I don't want to ruin the chilled out life she has now.
I might be nuts, but has anyone else struggled with this?
