What might cause a cat to lose weight if they act fine?

My cat is almost 4 years old.

She had mucus in her poop for about a year and half. We found out right after she got spayed.

The vet diagnosed her with a food intolerance and had us try different foods.

She gained weight while we were trying different brands and we eventually found out that rabbit makes her poop normal. I'm not sure if the weight gain was from the spay or the food.

It is natures variety limited ingredient dry food.

We started feeding her that around august i think and assumed it was the end of it.

She was at 14 pounds.

She went to a new vet in october to get vaccinated and they said she was 12 pounds(maybe 13, i can't remember). I assumed it was from us settling on her food and thought nothing of it.

When she went back a month later for her boosters she was about 7 ounces less. I just thought it was from the food still since she doesn't show any more symptoms.

I'm getting worried about the weight loss now though. I'm not sure how much she weighs now but she is definitely smaller than when she was 14 pounds.

Not super skinny or anything like that.

That is literally her only symptom now. Do you think it is just from us switching her to a new food?

If it was something else, wouldn't she have any other symptom? She acts fine and everything.
