I have a call into the vet, just looking for other folks who may have day-to-day experience with this.
Our shelter cat had feline herpes when we brought it home. It almost died. We spent four solid weeks syringe feeding it, administering meds and getting daily fluids at the vet. The cat lived, made a full recovery, and has been perfectly healthy for a year.
A few days ago he started to sneeze again. He's probably sneezing 3-4 times a day (as opposed to 30-40 when he was really sick) and his eyes and nose are a little runny. He's still eating and playing and I'm supplementing with lysine, even though he hates it.
Is there anything else that I can do? Should I expect this to get worse, or just be a blip?
