My 13 year Aussie loves to be outside with her "kids" but I've noticed that she's been struggling to find a comfortable place to lay and will want to come into the house and lay on her dog bed immediately, due to arthritis in her back knees.
I'm thinking of looking into a dog bed made for the outdoors but wondered if anyone has any recommendations for a dog bed that would be for a senior with arthritis. Would a cot-style bed be best, so it's off the ground? Or a bed made with outdoor friendly stuffing and fabrics? I tend to lean towards the cot-style beds, given that we get rain fairly regularly throughout our spring and summer season, but I want it to be a bed that she can use and find comfort in.
