Adopting a young adult blind cat, details below. Any tips, anecdotes, or advice?

I've fallen in life with a blind cat at my local rescue. She's a domestic shorthair, tortoiseshell colored, with no eyes. She's the sweetest and most playful kitty I've ever met. I filled out an application today, and there's a good chance I will take her home by the end of the week!

However, this is not only my first disabled pet, it's my first pet (belonging to solely me, at least; I still have my childhood dog). I know I will keep her safe, healthy, and loved, but I could use some advice.

Some context- I am currently living in a dorm. She will be living with a family friend in a house until the end of May. They love cats and know how to care for her. I will also be visiting her almost every day so she is used to my presence. Then, I am transitioning back home for the summer, to my parents' house. I have one dog at home, a senior small dog; he gets along with cats just fine. My parents also raised a blind and deaf cat when I was a child, so they are aware of the care needed. Finally, in August, I will be moving into an apartment with her as my ESA and that will be her last move for a long while.

I am looking for advice with: her transitions between living spaces, getting her accustomed, potentially introducing her to other pets, car ride advice, and other tips related to her adventures after I adopt. I love her dearly and want her to feel as comfortable and happy as possible with starting her new life.

Thanks in advance! :-)
