My cat was diagnosed in February, stage 3. He was well till last Monday. My dad’s cats both died last week from it, so I got really worried (actually one died bc of this, the other one also had CKD but stop eating when her brother died, so). Anyway, Monday he didn’t want to eat anymore so I freaked out, I can’t stop crying thinking he’s dying anytime soon idk. Btw, he stopped eating his renal food, but we bought his old food again and he is eating it. I know it’s a terminal disease, but how terminal it is? I love him so much and I’m so worried he will just die like today or something, I cannot stop crying :( Is he in pain? How much can a cat with CKD lives? My dad’s cat was diagnosed and died 5 days later. I really need to sleep to go to college, and I won’t stop crying, pls can someone in a similar situation talk to me?
