We have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes that we clean twice a day. We’ve narrowed it down to one cat, our only indoor/outdoor cat. All 3 cats have been to the vet and there isn’t anything medically wrong with any of them. Every rug in the house has been destroyed within a day or two of buying it. We can’t have an area rug for our living room, no mat for the kitchen sink, no bath mat. We have had some instances of her peeing on grocery bags on the counter and a couple times in the dog food bowl, but those are easy to clean up. The biggest problem is now our toddler’s room. We’ve bought and had to throw away several rugs because the second it comes into our house she pees on it! We try to keep the doors closed, but with a toddler it’s nearly impossible to control. I am at a breaking point. I can’t allow my kids to sleep in rooms that reek of cat pee, but we can’t afford to keep buying expensive rugs. Help!!
