My cat, the esteemed Senator Milky Way, is having urinary problems (little pees, peeing on my blanket in small amounts)

First time poster here because I didn’t know where else to ask. My cat (male, medium haired, mixed Maine Coon) is 4 years old, I’ve had him since he was two with no problems with his urinary habits. However, just two days ago, I noticed he was having trouble urinating, so I took him into the vet, explained the symptoms (little pees, some discharge, peeing outside the litter box) and they looked him over. They called me back explaining that he had a minor blockage in his bladder, some crystals, a tiny amount of red blood cells, and some bacteria.

So their treatment plan was to put him on Hills C/D wet cat food to help with the moisture intake and since it’ll help dissolve any crystals in his bladder. Alright sounds good. And he was starting to improve a bit in just the first day! However, we have construction going on in our house in my bathroom and as you can imagine, it gets quite loud with the tools, the people coming in and out with their heavy boots, etc. and then I thought about it, his problems began when construction began.

So I’m curious as to if the high stress environment has caused my cat to have bladder problems? And to add, I truly don’t know how to help reduce his stress. His comfort zone is my bedroom but the bathroom is directly across from us and the walls are thin, so there’s no noise blockage whatsoever. We have a spare bedroom further away from the noise if that helps. Should I keep him in that room while the construction goes on or should I move him temporarily into that room for the duration of the construction?
