my cat disappeared months ago and everyone thinks he was eaten by a coyote but I can't bear to think it. we put up flyers and searched everywhere, under people's crawlspaces, in the woods, everywhere, and didn't find a body or blood, but everyone thinks something must've gotten him. we put up flyers in our town and surrounding towns for miles. he has a microchip so I haven't looked in shelters, as they would have contacted us. (I know that's not true in certain countries but where I live they're strict about checking for microchips) when he went missing he was also wearing a collar so somebody would have known he wasn't a stray. I check facebook pages for lost pets constantly. I want to believe somebody has him and just hasn't called me or taken him to a vet, but if he was wearing a collar and people have seen my flyers offering a reward, I can't see how that's possible. Am I just living in denial thinking I'll be reunited with him?
