I noticed my 7 to 8 month old cat not eating dry kibble. So I examined his gums and observed a thin red line on the gum line. So I think it is gingivitis? Anyway, because he was hungry (sniffing for food around the house), but not eating his food, I hand fed him dry kibble (which I did before discovering the red gum line. Feeling awful about it now). So what do i give him now? I have a vet appointment for only Thursday as he isn't in town till then. He just drinks the juice of the wet food and during the course of the night manages to finish about three quarters of the pouch (85gms). Otherwise he's a very active kitty who likes running and playing a lot!
