We recently adopted a 1 year old cat. She’s wonderful with my two young children. She’s sweet and calm, although still cautious of her surroundings. We have a few dogs as well, which doesn’t pose a problem because we can easily keep them separated. We would, however, love for them to all get accustomed to each other. The cat does NOT like the dogs. She hasn’t been up close and personal with them yet, but even from a distance she goes full battle stance, accompanying war cry, and dark souls boss music. Will she grow out of it? Is it just the way she’ll be? Anything we can do other than ease her into it?
