My boyfriend moved in with his friends who are suffering a severe flea problem. Their dad moved out and left them with several pets and a home all severely infested with fleas. All the pets are basically untreated right now. An exterminator is coming in on Friday but I spent today helping my boyfriend move in, and there are fleas everywhere and promised to help him move more stuff tomorrow, unaware of this problem.
I’m worried about bringing them home to my pet. My dog is always regularly treated with strong flea regimen. But I’m still worried about bringing these fuckers home to nest in my mattress and whatnot. I check my hair and clothes before I go inside but I’m still not sure that’s doing much. Should I be more concerned and take precautions?
