When we first moved, my male cat peed outside the litter box several times, I think due to stress. I use OUT! enzyme cleaner to saturate the spots, and until a couple weeks ago I thought he was done doing it. Unfortunately, I noticed him squatting to pee last week and tonight. When I interrupt him, he goes in the litter box. The only thing I can think of is that we're only cleaning the litter boxes once a day (at night) usually and that isn't enough for him. We have three boxes and two cats. He only tries to pee/pees in one spot, by the radiator in the room with two litter boxes. Do I need to rent a cleaner for the carpet? Clean the boxes before work too? I really don't think it'd a medical issue but if it continues i'll make doubly sure at the vet.
