Could my indoor cat escape through a collar/chip activated cat door?

My family has one outdoor cat and one indoor cat. I wish they were both indoors, but I don't think it's possible to change the outdoor cat at this stage in his life and with his weird personality. The outdoor cat has become insufferable at night with his constant need to go in and outside, so we've been looking into getting a locking cat door that will only let him out by using a collar/chip. I'm just a bit worried that the indoor cat could manage to get through the door and escape. She likes to playfully bully our outdoor cat and sometimes runs after him when he quickly leaves a room. She is also very curious about the outside and will try to walk out of the house if the door is left open. I'm afraid that the outdoor cat will unlock the cat door to leave, and that the indoor cat will run through the door directly after him before it can re-lock.

If anyone here has experience with collar/chip activated cat doors, could you tell me if this seems possible or if I'm worrying over nothing?
