Hi everyone, I have no idea if I will find the help I need here.
Long story short, my boyfriend's best friend is on his way over with 2 large (short hair) dogs. They will be staying one or two nights (travelled 3 hours to come over). My boyfriend forgot to mention we had to keep the house dog-proof because we are having relatives over in about 2 weeks who happen to be severely allergic to dogs.
How do I make this work? Can I make this work? We have a central air system, so we will change the filter after the dogs leave (it's basically due anyway). We will try to restrict the dogs to downstairs, with only the guest bed on which they can go (my allergic relative will not be sleeping over, that's why I don't mind if the dogs go on the bed, and I'm hoping it kind of keeps the shedding localized to the sheets/bed area).
