One time I read somewhere that a live parrot in a fancy cage would make a great decoration in any tropical themed room this was next to a picture of a COCKATOO!! ( one of the loudest and most demanding parrots to keep as pets)
Parrots are pretty but they need sooo much work and attention and many of the fancy cages are way too small and have toxic materials
