Our dog just got neutered today. He’s 8 months old if that’s helpful at all. We brought him back home and he was in his cone. He was sleeping when we got home and later he woke up and that’s when it craziness broke loose. He would try to lick himself, realize he can’t and then freak out and whine. We decided to get him an inflatable collar so his head will be open but he still can’t lick his wounds. He’s still doing the same thing even with the inflatable collar. This is my first time having a dog as well. Is this regular for a dog to do this when neutered?
