I live in Ontario, Canada. My dog suffered major brain damage and had to be put to sleep because of a faulty connection of the anesthetic equipment. I have filed a complaint against the vet with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. Also filed one against the Registered Vet Tech with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (she was immediately responsible for the oversight though she was under the delegation of the vet and clinic supervisors).
I'm wondering if any of you out there has experience with this process. What was the time frame and the outcome? Any advice or other feedback is very welcome.
