Hi Reddit,
Turning to you guys for some much needed advice on how to handle fleas. As it's been getting hotter, and apparently also because our area has a flea problem, my two kittens (4 and 7 months) have had major issues. The first time we discovered them on the cats, we gutted the apartment, cleaned everything, washed every towel and bedsheet, and of course treated our cats. The fleas kept coming.
A week later (yesterday), my fiancee took them into the vet as they developed FAD from all the bites, despite our heavy cleaning every day. They vet gave them an injection for the FAD as well as a medicated flea bath. We've been vacuuming, swiffering, doing laundry, spraying everywhere everyday... I still see fleas on them and see signs of fleas everywhere.
Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this?? We're doing everything we can think of but any and all suggestions are welcome!
