My dog, a pug-beagle mix, got a hotspot on his tail a few days ago. We took him to the vet and he is now wearing a cone. All he does is chase his tail all day every day. Last night, he chased his tail until he was completely exhausted, and had to stop because his body would not let him continue. Whenever anyone comes near him, he gets really defensive. Is there anything I can do to help him?
