I’ve had my pet gerbil, Jeremy, for 5 years now. I know they don’t really live longer than that and his time might be almost up. I’ve noticed that for a while now he’s been dragging his back legs, and today while he was eating he was laying on his side. What can I do to make his last days, weeks, months or year easier on him? What do gerbils want/do for fun? What do I do now that my little boy is getting older and that someday I could be without him?
