Hello dear people of reddit! I have a question concerning my pets.
Back in November, my gf and I adopted a newborn kitten (female). It's now early June, so she's about 8 months old. Our vet said that we should get her neutered around this time, but she just went into heat, so it's probably not going to be until the end of the month.
In May, we adopted another cat (a 7 year old Male). He's been good with the kitten so far, but he has recently started mounting our cat. We saw this and immediately separated the two. We are contacting the bet tomorrow to arrange a fixing (if even possible). Are there any other preventative measures that we should take? Thanks so much!
