She (Collie x springer rescue, 8yo next Wednesday) not been great since last Friday but nothing specific. I gave her a lot of TLC, pets, walks, fresh water. She was just down, I thought it was the thunder. She then got the runs on Tuesday so I took her to the Vet. They just put her on an expensive medicated food. She hasn’t eaten any of it.
She got a bit of the runs yesterday again but solid poop too and was in good form. Then I woke this morning and she had pooped bloody runs all over the house (she NEVER EVER goes in the house and she didn’t try wake me).
I rang the vet and they said to persevere with the food so I said “f*ck you” and have an appt with another vet in the next village. I was recommended them ages ago and hear only good things.
Appointment is in an hour.
Am worried sick.
