Hey Reddit, I have an Australian Shepherd named Bronco. My family has had him since he was a puppy, about two years ago. I was unable to make the drive with my family to pick him up since I had to work, but my mom, dad, brother, and brother's girlfriend all went. Bronco loves all of them, but seems to very much dislike me. The first day of owning him, he seemed timid and wanted to avoid me, but very friendly with everyone else. The second day of owning him is when he started barking and trying to bite me. Since then, he has tried to bite me every time I see him. He has left some pretty nasty bites. The weird thing is, he only does it if someone else is in the room. If it is just Bronco and I, he is friendly and/or indifferent to my presence. As soon as someone walks in, he turns around and leaps to bite me. A few other strange things: if I sneeze, he bites me. If anyone else sneezes, he bites me. If the oven timer goes off, he bites me. If the television turns off, he bites me. I am completely unsure of what to do and have tried everything I can think of and many other methods people have given me, we have even taken Bronco to a trainer, but he still acts this way. Does anyone have any advice for how I can get him to act calmer and nicer towards me?
