Hi all,
I am moving from Oregon to Illinois in about a week. My kitty will be coming with me. She is about to turn 2 years old. I know she gets stressed in the car when I have to take her for cat visits.
My drive is going to be a day and a half. I heard that tranquilizers are an option. I called the vet's office and they said that tranquilizers might not be necessary because they sell some otc anti-anxiety anti-stress stuff for cats. should I go to the vet anyways to talk about the tranquilizers or just buy general anti-stress meds?
And what do you recommend I bring on the road with me to assure my cat is comfortable? any specific kind of litter boxes? have a cat leash/harness on her? any other moving tips in general?
I greatly appreciate it!
