Recently my two dogs have started fighting for real. It's starting to escalate and gets worse each time. I think my oldest dog 4 and youngest dog 10 months are fighting over who is top dog.
However, there is no rhyme or reason as to what sets off the fighting. It can be toys, food, favourite spot in the couch, or just walking past each other.
What can I do to get them to stop fighting? I have been breaking them up so far, but lately even if I get them apart and tell the older one to go (which she would before) she now won't give up.
I feel like a terrible dog owner and don't know what to do.
