its incredibly sad to me that every time i walk out my front door, my neighbors german shepherd dog is scream barking and biting at the fence panels. i can’t let this go on anymore if i can help it! i’ve lived in this house in denver county for 2 months now. i personally believe my neighbor is neglecting their german shepherd dog. the dog is very friendly to me as i’ve given her treats and pets through the fence in my yard since i moved in. she gets very excited when i come to see her through the fence crevice. i’ve never seen or heard the owners acknowledge her, take her inside (even during hail/snow storms) or walk her, actually i’ve never even heard them in their backyard! she’s constantly barking at everything that comes by her fence at all hours, i can’t see a dog door to inside or a water dish outside anywhere, and i’m pretty sure her fur has never seen a brush. i feel so sad and lost in this situation because i’m pretty sure if the county shelter came to take her, she would be euthanized for being aggressive towards dogs (she tries to fence fight with my dogs). i’ve emailed local german shepherd rescues but i’ve had no replies, i’ve tried reaching out to the neighbors via a note about at least walking her but i’m pretty sure there’s a language barrier. im assuming she’s a family pet because there’s a ton of people that live in the house. i’m just wondering if there’s anyone else i can talk to or anything else i can do for this dog? i just don’t want to make the situation worse i guess. any help is much appreciated!
