I don't have a huge amount of space, I live in a 2 bedroom-2 story maisonette, and I already have 2 fish tanks! (1 x 64L/ 1 x 150L).
I would prefer an animal that can be okay without me being in the house for several hours of the day (I work Monday-Friday, 0700 to 1530), whether it be with a friend or on it's own.
I don't mind a maintenance, so long as the outcome is a rewarding and social able pet!
Budget is not a massive problem, but I live in North Scotland, so it can get cold, and as I mentioned, my house isn't huge.
