Cat not eating

Has anyone had experience with their cat not eating?

My cat is 2 years old and she usually has a healthy appetite until a couple days ago, when she stopped eating and will just lick the food/walk away. She will eat treats but often after eating, she gags / dry heaves. I have not changed her diet, which is mixed dry and wet food, sometimes just wet.

I just took her to the vet today and they will do an x-ray on her, I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with this sort of issue in their cat.
