So I have an older cat. Good cat, no issues, except he was a stray who always bolted outside if the door opened. So I let him out at night only to protect the birds.
Anyway, he uses the litter box fine. Likes in the summer to poo outside. Today though I watched as he went out in -10 C (I smoke, he goes out with me for a minute then wants back in). He wandered over to the 3 foot deep snow, went far across the yard, squatted with his butt on the snow, and pooped. He was sinking in it.
Wtf cat? Never seen him do this before.
