I live in an apartment complex on the second floor. My 1 yr old Japanese chin sees other dogs all the time. His tail wags, he’s happy, but he doesn’t bark or get crazy or anything. There is one guy on the 1st floor with a Pitbull. If he is walking his dog, mine will start jumping on the balcony door to get out, which he has NEVER Done. If he sees the dog outside he starts barking uncontrollably and running at him. He acts like the Pit is his best friend in the world. But he’s never once met him. I just don’t understand. Dog park, friends dogs, he just casually plays. Why is he seemingly in love with this male pitbull whom he has had no interactions with?
