Housemate feeding cat, after being told to stop

So my cat has previously had UTI problems and had to have surgery to get crystals removed. He’s been on a prescription diet ever since.

A new housemate moved in and took a liking to my cat, which is fine but they started buying snacks for my cat. I told them to stop and even explained why (even though I shouldn’t have to) my cat can’t eat the treats. They don’t listen, in fact thought it was funny that I was upset about it.

There was a separate instance where my cat caught fleas and I had trouble getting rid of them and didn’t want my cat in their room because they have carpet. I’ve begged them to not let my cat in their room, and they ignored me.

I recently brought my cat to the vet and my cat is facing possible crystals again and I’ve told my housemate this. They just bought more snacks... What can I do, legally, to get them to stop that doesn’t end in violence?
