Feeding Question for my two felines

Hey there everyone,

I've got two lovely little felines (roughly 1.5-2 years of age) who are giving me quite a bit of trouble of feeding them. The male cat (Momo) Is roughly 5kg of weight while the female one (Goki) weight 3.5-4kg. The female one is pretty active and seeks plays as often as she can (so much so, that it tends to get annoying xD) while the male one is sleeping all day long, getting up at 10pm and then wants his laser pointer (if he doesn't get it, he doesn't mind climbing the Net-back-Office-Chair).

In the beginning (the first year) I've fed them three times a day, ending up at 2x 50g wet food and 1x dry food (around 25g) which seemed to be a pretty good fit to them. However, I've "made the mistake" of giving them different flavours and that is biting me in the butt more and more.

As it stands today, they barely eat any of the wet food I give them anymore. Whenever it's food time, they come, if lucky they take a few bites and then go away. The male cat doesn't even get up after work anymore and only eats in morning and evening (plus night).

Basically I have resorted to giving them dry food only (no worries, they drink plenty) and wet food only every 3rd day or so and that seems to be working fine'ish but even then they rarely ever finish their respective 50g portions, leaving around 10-15g behind.

I'm doing free-feeding and consider timed meals but I'm not quite sure how to go on with them. Because if I give them timed meals and they don't eat any of that, what am I supposed to do? Should I leave dry food out all the time (free feed) and only try to give them wet food on a timed base? Should I remove all the food and only offer it at certain times? (feedings times would be 8am, 5pm, 11pm)

Anyhow, all sorts of feedback appreciated.
