The first sign was actually late in coming. A large round lesion formed immediately to the side of her anus. I took her to the vet and he did an x-ray. The cancer was about stage three. Her bowels were actually being pushed down by a huge mass along her lumbar line. She also has cancer in her lungs. She doesn't like to be touched on the left side while standing. But she is playful and alert. She eats very well. I give her laxatives 3 times a week and CBC oil. She only seems grouchy at night. Her vet said she's happy. You have time. But how do I know when it is time? You want every minute, but you don't want them to suffer.
