Guitly Foster

My roommate from two years ago decided to move in with someone allergic to cats and was trying to get rid of his. To prevent her from going to a shelter I took her on as a foster, and am working with an independent adoption agency for older pets to get her a new home.

Recently it's been stressing me out a little. I wasn't ready for it and the agency insisted I take her within three days of even volunteering. Having not been a cat owner since I was a child it was overwhelming and still is. My lifestyle isn't the best for a pet which is why I've avoided getting one. Luckily my roommate has been pretty helpful if I don't come home for a day in feeding her (of course I pay them)

In May I'm moving in with my bf who is allergic to cats. He offered to maybe get the shots for her but I don't want to do that to him. Now, my roommate has started to comment about when I'm getting her a home and mentioned that they are annoyed by her now. (They said it isn't the feeding bc they get paid but the stress of an animal in general. Ex. Her possibly ruining s couch or carpet) Originally they were fine with it as they love cats but I don't think they expected her to be here this long, nor did I. It's been about two months.

I don't know what to do. Her staying here is stressing me out but... Am I a bad person if I ask the adoption agency to try and find her a home quicker or a new foster by the end of February? I would never put her in a shelter, to be clear, either a permanent home or a foster no question...I'm just at a loss.

All advice is welcome!!! Thanks for reading
