I'm a new owner of an adopted indoor cat that is about 1 year old. I've noticed that he scratches himself frequently and have occasionally seen him biting his fur. I've tried examining his fur, but haven't seen anything. Though, his fur is dark so i could've missed some things. Would it be a good idea for me to buy spot-on flea medication even if he may not have fleas?
