I volunteer with an animal rescue. It’s 12:30am here. Found a dog hit by car and took it to E vet. Scanned for microchip and it has one but we can’t get owner information. The dog is being treated; the rescue will pay if the owners can’t or won’t. But this dog may not make it and the vet is far less interested in contacting the owners than we are. We just want them to know where their dog is and what is going on. It’s been out lost for some time judging it’s body score.
