So I’ve had my cats for almost 5 years now, and I love them with all of my heart. I have a lot of anxiety and I don’t tell anyone so these cats and my ferret are like my world. Since I’m young, I still live with my parents. My dad never really wanted 2 cats. And now, they’ve developed a bad habit of scratching things, and pooping/peeing outside the litterbox. We can’t get new main furniture ( such as couches) because of the scratching. My dad over the past year has been very annoyed with them and keeps hinting that we gotta get rid of them. I can’t let them go, I love them too much. I’m willing to do whatever it takes. I’m only asking on here because I feel as if specific answers to questions is gonna get me farther. Anyways, has anyone been in this situation and fixed it or got any tips? Thanks, it means the world to me
