Hello r/pets!
I was searching through some posts about a medical issue that's going on with my dog. I found lots of posts from people who had asked similar questions, related to what my dog is going through, but no one had followed up with how their dog did, or what the prognosis was, etc.
It would have been extremely helpful for me to hear about what the vet said with their dog, what the treatment was, and if their dog recovered OK. So please, if you post a medical question and engage with the community, it would mean a lot if you would come back and post an update with some details about your pet's prognosis, treatment, and recovery.
As always, I recommend first and foremost to reach out to a licensed vet for official guidance, but it really does help to get more information about how other people are doing and what their treatments are.
