Hi everyone. So my boyfriend and I adopted an 8 week old kitten on Friday and he got used to our home really fast. He ate, drank and pooped all in the same night we brought him home.
Sunday morning we both had to go to work and were away from 4:30 am until 13:30 pm that I came back home. Before leaving I played with him, changed his water, filled his food bowl and cleaned his litter. Everything seemed fine when I came back home but later in the day, around 6:00 pm he started meowing like craaazy so I decided to mix wet food with dryfor the first time. He loved it and he figured out that it comes from the fridge.
I think he loved it that much, he doesn’t even wanna eat his dry food anymore. I try putting a bit of watter to his kibble so maybe it would be more appealing to him and he seems to like it. But what I’m worried about now is when I have to go to work, what is he gonna eat if I’m not supposed to leave wet food for longer than 20 minutes out (and to be honest it doesn’t even last 20 minutes).
Any tips?
