My little guy passed away on Wednesday this week. It’s been a long battle with him and it finally got the best of him. His brother spending a lot of time with me but also a lot of time in the spot he used to sit with his brother at. Unfortunately his brother spent his last week in the litter box (he would come out). I know this is horrible but he didn’t seem to be in pain just very confused, he didn’t even recognize me I think. The vets told me neurological problems from the get go and this behavior change happened so quick I didn’t know what was going on. However now his brother is hanging out in that room, not in the box but just there. What could I possibly do to comfort him? We have other cats, they just don’t seem bothered.
