My cat Cabbage usually loves me a little more than my partner, until today. Today we had to hold her down for a few minutes to check her butt, and since I’m better at handling her, I was doing the pin down, and afterwards she began to avoid me. To my dismay and my partner’s delight, she starts following my partner around and completely ignoring me. She’s a nice kitty and doesn’t hold a grudge in the past, but it seems that I really pissed her off today. This upsets me deeply. How long does it take to win her affection back?
