We suffered from ashfall in our area when a volcano south of our area erupted. The ashfall is not as heavy as areas nearer to the volcano but ashfall has finely dusted our neighborhood and air is noticeably sulfuric and irritating to eyes and throat even with closed windows. I had to work all day and siblings shared that although our pets were all kept indoors, they were lethargic the whole day. I am worried that they inhaled a lot of the toxic gases around. I’m planning to bring them to vet when the ashfall has stopped. In the meantime, what should I do to help them?
