My dog is turning 13 years old , and in the past 2 years she's developed an intestinal hernia which my vet said not to treat because of her old age, and recently it seems that she's developed diabetes, due to the observation of excessive drinking of water, and peeing. Seeing that she's nearing 13 years old and probably has no more than a few years left, euthanizing my dog seems like the best option right now. I don't want her to have to suffer in the coming months and years. Do you all think it's best she be put down, or let her live the remainder of her life?
