Hey, bros.
Last night, I took in this kitten who wasn't not very small. I'd guess she's around four months to a year old. (Sorry if that isn't specific, I've seen a cat twice in my life before this point and I don't know much about them.) She stayed the night and now she's been hanging around my porch wanting affection from me. She uses the litter box inside my house even if she has to beg her way in, it's really weird. (I'm saying this because I'm not sure if she counts as my pet or not)
A storm just started maybe an hour ago. I managed to carry her inside, where she was very content, but someone who lived with me opened the door for just a second and she bolted out as fast as she could.
Will she be okay? I'm worried she's going to get hypothermia, extremely spooked by the storm, or distrustful of me.
Sorry, I don't know if I should post this here. I'm just having a lot of anxiety since I can't find her and I'm really attached.
Thanks in advance.
