My cats are temporarily with a friend while my house is being renovated. 3 of them are together along with my dog. My friend hasn’t seen one of my cats, Toodles, since Tuesday but also wasn’t home much up until last night (Thursday night). She says they all looked in every room and couldn’t find him. We set out food with the other animals locked in a room overnight, no such luck. Things have also been set outside and I will be passing out flyers and setting up a live trap. My gut tells me he is in the house but who knows. Anyway, my question is: would Mia and Peter Pan be sad if Toodles was gone? Peter and Toodles are a bonded pair, so they came together, and I always joke that Toodles and Mia are dating because they’re always all over each other. Is that a silly thing to expect from cats? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
