We adopted a 10 week old kitten this week. Our house has an open staircase (hardwood floors with a ledge behind the staircase banisters). Today, our kitten decided to start running back and forth along the edge. Twice, she went off the ledge and pulled herself back up. Nearly gave me a heart attack! I am petrified of her falling and dying. We are keeping a close eye on her, but I’m worried that I can’t do that forever. Looking for ideas to block the ledge off and keep her safe - unfortunately, due to the layout it would be impossible to baby gate the entire area. Any suggestions would be welcome!
