So I have 3 animals. A teeny Chihuahua, a 3 year old male neutered cat and a young female.
My husband gave my older cat a bath and while I was drying him off he came in contact with my younger cat and she went ballistic. Hissing, batting, going nuts on the older cat.
My husband tried to intervien and got torn up (his hands are shredded and she bit his thumb.) There was blood everywhere.
We kept her locked up in the bathroom so she doesn't hurt anyone. I've gone in and tried to pet her but she hisses and acts defensively.
I have no idea what to do. She has never been like this before. She's usually very lovey -dovy.
Should I take her to the vet?
